Senior Security Engineer – Zscaler

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer with deep expertise in Zscaler solutions to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud security capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Zscaler platforms, DLP/eDLP policies, incident response workflows, and cloud security frameworks, with the ability to collaborate across Security, Network, and Compliance teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Zscaler platform capabilities, including OCR, EDM, IDM, eDLP, and Zscaler Workload Automation (ZWA).

• Develop, tune, and maintain Zscaler DLP/eDLP policies, rule sets, and advanced detection logic.

• Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, runbooks, triage workflows, and incident remediation playbooks for Zscaler operations.

• Perform alert triage, investigation, and incident remediation, including root-cause analysis and documentation.

• Monitor platform performance, drive continuous tuning cycles, and improve detection accuracy while reducing false positives.

• Collaborate with Security Operations, Network teams, Compliance, and Application Owners to enhance policies and handle security incidents.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Zscaler-related queries and escalations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Zscaler platform deployment and configuration, including OCR, EDM, IDM, eDLP, ZWA, and policy development.

• Proven experience in operationalizing Zscaler solutions, including SOP creation, triage workflows, and incident-handling processes.

• Strong understanding of DLP concepts, content inspection, data classification, and enterprise traffic flows.

• Experience performing incident triage, investigation, user remediation, and reporting in Zscaler environments.

• Familiarity with cloud-based security architectures (SSE/SASE), secure web gateways, and Zero Trust models.

• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across Security, Network, Legal, and Compliance teams throughout the policy lifecycle.
