Senior SDET

We are looking for a Senior SDET to design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions, ensuring high-quality software delivery. The role involves working closely with development and business teams to translate requirements into robust automated tests, improve testing processes, and support CI/CD pipelines.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for unit, integration, and system-level validation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand software requirements and functional specifications
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects; continuously improve testing processes
• Implement and maintain CI/CD processes for automated testing
• Perform system integration testing, including backend and API validation using Rest Assured/Karate
• Develop and execute SQL queries for database testing (JDBC/JPA)
• Review requirements and design artifacts to ensure extensive test coverage
• Translate business and functional requirements into testable scenarios
• Stay updated with latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Participate in Agile/Waterfall environments and coordinate with onsite/offshore teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in automated unit and integration testing
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and CI/CD tools
• Strong experience with automated testing frameworks, TDD, and API testing
• Proficiency in Java and at least one other programming language
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies: smoke, functional, regression, and non-black box testing
• Experience in database testing with SQL, JDBC/JPA
• Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall delivery models and collaborative team environments
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
