Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and maintain SCCM infrastructure components, including CAS, primary sites, distribution points, management points, software update points, and Cloud Management Gateway.
  • Configure and optimize SCCM settings, roles, and features to ensure reliable software deployment, patch management, and endpoint protection.
  • Expertly manage SCCM architecture, including task sequences, site hierarchy, role configuration, boundary groups, and content distribution.
  • Utilize SCCM features such as App Model, CI Baselines, Task Sequences, OSD, virtual apps, and automated script deployments.
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards to monitor infrastructure performance, client health, software deployments, and compliance status.
  • Expertise in creating and deploying OS images, managing Windows OS images, driver packages, and troubleshooting related to PXE and WDS.
  • Support OS image customization and deployment, with a focus on Windows 10/11 build architecture.
  • Utilize PowerShell, VBScript, and other scripting languages to automate and resolve deployment issues.
  • Monitor system performance, including uptime, utilization, and capacity of SCCM server infrastructure.
  • Plan and implement SCCM component upgrades, changes, and disaster recovery strategies following established change control procedures.
  • Work with Active Directory, Group Policy, and networking concepts to optimize system deployments.

 

Required Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in SCCM/MECM administration.
  • Expertise in SCCM architecture, deployment, patch management, and OS deployment.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerShell, scripting, and troubleshooting SCCM infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, GPO/GPP, and network concepts.
  • Experience with imaging tools (e.g., MDT, WinPE, SCCM OSD, PXE).
  • Strong background in managing Windows 10/11 build and deployment.
  • Experience in monitoring and optimizing system performance and capacity.
