Senior SAP LeanIX Engineer

We are seeking a Senior SAP LeanIX Engineer to lead the end-to-end implementation, configuration, integration, and governance of SAP LeanIX for enterprise architecture management. The role focuses on meta-model configuration, enterprise system integrations, data governance, application rationalization, and platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield implementation and configuration of SAP LeanIX, including workspaces, meta-models, fact sheets, tagging taxonomies, and ownership models.

• Develop integrations with ServiceNow CMDB, HR/identity platforms, and cloud providers using REST/GraphQL APIs, LeanIX Integration Hub, Python, and JavaScript.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture leadership to define and deliver a phased platform roadmap.

• Establish data governance, data quality controls, surveys, attestations, and stewardship processes.

• Develop reports, dashboards, and architecture diagrams to support application rationalization and technology risk management.

• Drive platform adoption through documentation, training, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, IT Portfolio Management, or Platform Engineering, including 3+ years of hands-on SAP LeanIX experience.

• Proven experience implementing SAP LeanIX from the ground up in enterprise environments.

• Strong knowledge of LeanIX configuration, meta-models, fact sheets, and data governance.

• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, JSON, Python or JavaScript, and enterprise integrations.

• Hands-on experience integrating LeanIX with ServiceNow CMDB and HR/identity systems.

• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, TOGAF, business capability modeling, and application rationalization.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP LeanIX Associate or Professional certification.

• Experience with technology obsolescence, application rationalization, cost optimization, and risk reduction initiatives.

• Experience in regulated industries or public sector environments.
