Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.
• Participate in technical architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with functional and business teams to determine the optimal implementation approach, including declarative vs. programmatic solutions vs. AppExchange products.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and well-architected technical solutions.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including development, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-deployment support.
• Ensure solutions are highly secure, optimized for performance, and built to scale.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura/LWC), Salesforce APIs, and integrations.
• Experience developing and executing data migrations and working with Salesforce data models.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Git, Copado, or similar.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Salesforce Platform Developer II or other advanced Salesforce certifications.
• Experience with Service Cloud and/or Energy & Utilities Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and release management best practices.
• Familiarity with data migration and integration tools such as Data Loader, MuleSoft, or similar.
