Design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.
Participate in technical architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality solutions.
Collaborate with functional and business teams to determine the optimal implementation approach, including declarative vs. programmatic solutions vs. AppExchange products.
Develop, maintain, and enhance integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and well-architected technical solutions.
Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including development, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-deployment support.
Ensure solutions are highly secure, optimized for performance, and built to scale.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and objectives.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura/LWC), Salesforce APIs, and integrations.
Experience developing and executing data migrations and working with Salesforce data models.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Git, Copado, or similar.
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Salesforce Platform Developer II or other advanced Salesforce certifications.
Experience with Service Cloud and/or Energy & Utilities Cloud.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and release management best practices.
Familiarity with data migration and integration tools such as Data Loader, MuleSoft, or similar.
