Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior SailPoint Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions using SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SailPoint development, Java-based customization, identity lifecycle automation, access governance, and enterprise application integrations.
This role involves translating business requirements into secure and scalable identity management solutions, developing custom rules and workflows, implementing access certification and Separation of Duties (SOD) controls, and integrating SailPoint with enterprise applications and security platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance identity governance, automate access management processes, and support secure software development and deployment practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain SailPoint Identity Security Cloud solutions to meet business and security requirements.
- Develop custom rules, BeanShell scripts, workflows, forms, and other technical components to support complex identity governance processes.
- Build and maintain integrations between SailPoint and enterprise applications, including SAP, ServiceNow, HR systems, Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, and physical security platforms.
- Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, SCIM, Web Services, and other enterprise integration protocols.
- Implement and optimize access certifications, access reviews, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), role mining, and Separation of Duties (SOD) policies.
- Automate identity lifecycle management processes, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, and access changes.
- Translate business and technical specifications into secure, maintainable, and scalable development solutions.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshoot defects, support deployments, and resolve integration and application issues.
- Manage source code and development activities using Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub, and track tasks and defects using Jira.
- Collaborate with security, application, infrastructure, and business teams in an Agile development environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve identity governance processes, reduce manual effort, and strengthen access controls.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration details, and implementation artifacts.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing SailPoint Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), including configuration, customization, workflows, and integrations.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, BeanShell, JavaScript, PowerShell, shell scripting, and JSON.
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, access certifications, RBAC, role mining, and SOD controls.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs, SCIM, Web Services, OAuth, and SAML-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience integrating SailPoint with enterprise applications such as SAP, ServiceNow, HR/WFM platforms, and PAM solutions.
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge, including Oracle or similar database technologies.
- Experience with source control and development tools such as Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, and VS Code.
- Familiarity with Jira, Agile development practices, testing, and deployment processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and enterprise identity security standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) certification.
- Experience integrating SailPoint with SAP S/4HANA, workforce management systems, and physical access control platforms such as Lenel.
- Experience implementing identity governance solutions within complex, multi-application enterprise environments.
- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and participating in the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience optimizing identity governance workflows, access review processes, and automated provisioning solutions.
