We are seeking an experienced Senior Release Test System Integration Tester to lead system-level testing and validation for large-scale, multi-tier applications. This role requires deep hands-on experience in system integration testing, release testing, CI/CD alignment, and cross-functional collaboration within complex enterprise environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work closely with system design, product, and development teams to build comprehensive testing and validation strategies
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on feature and functionality definitions
- Translate product and system requirements into detailed test cases using BDD/TDD methodologies
- Design and execute system-level test plans, schedules, and test cases (manual and automated)
- Validate product features based on system requirements, functional specs, and test plans
- Identify defects, manage defect lifecycle, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues throughout the SDLC
- Maintain detailed test execution records, QA metrics, and dashboards
- Participate in design reviews, quality reviews, and readiness assessments while providing risk analysis
- Drive and implement best-in-class testing practices
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and coordinate efforts across multiple engineers
- Provide regular status updates on QA activities to stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Senior Release Test / System Integration Tester
- Strong experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Zephyr and JIRA
- Working knowledge of CI tools like Jenkins to align with DevOps deployment processes
- Experience testing large-scale, multi-tier systems and service-oriented architectures
- Exposure to third-party and cloud-based testing environments
- Solid understanding of modern web application architectures, including decoupled modules and independent subsystems
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and balance multiple objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (modems, switches, routers, firewalls)
