We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technology projects or key workstreams within a larger program. This role requires full ownership of project life cycle activities from planning through execution, including scope, scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies, retail experience, and demonstrated success in managing global teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of 1–2 complex and/or technical projects from planning to deployment, including 1–2 functional dependencies.
- Manage agile or operational/service teams for continuous enhancements or initiatives.
- Identify and resolve project blockers; ensure timely escalation where necessary.
- Ensure deliverables align with business objectives and quality standards.
- Coordinate quarterly planning with team capacity and project objectives.
- Define, document, assign, and track objectives and measurable tasks.
- Manage project budgets up to $1M (forecast and actuals).
- Own resource planning and 3rd-party vendor management.
- Foster collaboration with global teams and stakeholders across NA, EMEA, APAC, and China.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior project managers within the program.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in project management, with 3–5 years in technology or a related field.
- Industry Experience: Retail domain experience is required.
- Proven knowledge and application of Project Management methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Demonstrated technical understanding and comfort with technology discussions.
- Budget ownership experience exceeding $1 million.
- Strong Agile and Scrum background; agile coaching is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience leading remote/global teams across multiple time zones.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and multi-project environments.
- Strong problem-solving and proactive troubleshooting skills.
- Effective leadership and stakeholder influence in the absence of direct authority.
