We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects from ideation through to deployment. The ideal candidate will excel in developing comprehensive project management documentation, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all project deliverables meet organizational standards. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain essential project management documentation, including project charters, deployment playbooks, implementation plans, training manuals, mitigation plans, and executive status reports.
• Collaborate with project team members and business area resource managers to obtain continuous updates on tasks related to the project plan throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate tasks and allocate resources within the IT department, ensuring that responsibilities align with project requirements. For projects requiring mobile devices, collaborate with PCs and MDM teams to manage procurement, configuration, and distribution.
• Oversee the deployment of solutions to lab environments and facilitate onboarding and training for application owners, ensuring a smooth transition throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
• Work closely with database, network, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and privacy teams to coordinate design requirements, development inputs, testing, and deployment tasks, ensuring compliance with established minimum standards.
• Establish and implement effective communication plans, including regular meetings with stakeholders to update them on project status, issues, and risks, and to ensure timely delivery of scheduled tasks.
• Prepare for potential travel commitments as required by project demands and scope.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP certification preferred.
• 7+ years of project management experience in IT or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level reports.
