Job Description
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using .NET (C#), Web Services, T-SQL, SSIS, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Utilize cloud-native tools and AWS services (EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Containers, API Gateway) to build and support distributed applications.
  • Write clean, high-quality, and testable code. Conduct unit testing and participate in QA and UAT cycles.
  • Design user interfaces, report layouts, data entry forms, and file structures based on business needs and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and system designs.
  • Manage small to mid-sized projects independently; contribute as a senior team member on larger, cross-functional projects.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and adopt best practices in Scrum or XP development environments.
  • Provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely fixes or enhancements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, system specifications, and deployment guides.
  • Demonstrate alignment with the organization’s values and culture through collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

 

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in software development and system analysis.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft development stack: .NET (C#), T-SQL, SSIS, and Web Services.
  • Solid experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with relational databases: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of design patterns, refactoring techniques, and unit testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to Linux and open-source technologies is a plus.
  • Financial services experience, especially in mortgage servicing or mortgage-backed securities, is highly desirable.
