Role and Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary advocate for the customer, defining, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog.
• Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
• Use a data-driven approach to prioritize features and user stories, ensuring the team focuses on high-value items.
• Elicit and document clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide development teams.
• Drive adherence to SAFe principles and agile methodologies throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the creation of a product roadmap, outlining delivery schedules and milestones.
• Participate in release planning activities, including feature prioritization and cross-team coordination.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years as an agile product owner, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment, with a deep understanding of agile methodologies and the SAFe framework.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Jira Software, Confluence, FigJam, Jira Align, and AgilityHealth.
• SAFe 6.0 Product Owner/Product Manager Certification required.
• Experience with products or organizations supporting critical data and analytics, including enterprise data catalogs, data quality analytics, data governance, data management, and/or data literacy.
