Job Overview
We are seeking a senior-level Power Apps and Dynamics 365 Project Operations Consultant to lead the migration from Project Online to Dynamics 365 Project Operations (Core). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Power Platform and Dynamics 365, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade project management solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end migration from Project Online to Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
- Provision environments, design Dataverse architecture, and define enterprise custom field (ECF) mappings.
- Create standardized project templates aligned with organizational processes.
- Automate data migration processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Execute go-live activities and provide post-deployment support.
- Collaborate closely with PMO, IT teams, and Dynamics 365 administrators to ensure a fully supported production environment.
- Apply Power Platform best practices and leverage Microsoft-supported APIs to build scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Provide guidance on configuration, customizations, and process improvements within Project Operations.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Power Apps.
- Strong knowledge of Dataverse design, data migration, and environment provisioning.
- Experience with enterprise custom fields (ECF) mapping and project template creation.
- Hands-on experience with automation of data migration and integration using Microsoft-supported APIs.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PMO and IT.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform are a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience migrating from Project Online to Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
- Knowledge of Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 administration and governance best practices.
