Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead network design and engineering efforts, creating hybrid network solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with vendors and technical teams for network solution development, engineering, and testing.
• Contribute to the creation of network governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with design standards and best practices.
• Analyze, design, and implement software-defined infrastructure products, ensuring they meet business needs.
• Provide technical leadership in agile projects, delivering network solutions and new features to the hybrid infrastructure estate.
• Document network test plans and produce reports based on rigorous testing and certification.
• Drive service automation, network transformation, and infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives.
• Collaborate on the implementation of NFV, service orchestration, and programmable networks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure in a similar senior network engineering role.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS, NXOS, IOS-XR, Juniper hardware, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, QoS, and more.
• Hands-on expertise in IP Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and Multicast protocols.
• Strong understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern network architectures.
• Experience with network automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Proficiency in using JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab for tracking and collaboration.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a focus on customer outcomes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Desired Skills

• Experience in the financial services industry and working with low-latency market data.
• Familiarity with service orchestration, observability, and monitoring platforms.
• Programming knowledge (Python preferred) and agile tools experience.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
