We are seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and APIs. The role requires strong expertise in .NET technologies, Azure cloud services, and modern software engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have experience building backend services from scratch, working with cloud-native architectures, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs and services using C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core).
- Build production-grade APIs and microservices from scratch.
- Develop and support frontend applications using Angular in enterprise environments.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Work extensively with Azure services including AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure Functions, and Cosmos DB.
- Develop integrations using SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Implement event-driven architectures using messaging systems such as Azure Service Bus.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance using telemetry tools such as Dynatrace.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline development using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform or ARM templates.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) for code generation, refactoring, and review processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core) for backend development.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying Angular applications.
- Experience with SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases in production environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Azure cloud services (AKS, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Service Bus).
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, particularly Claude Code.
- Experience with production monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or ARM templates).
- Exposure to logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain domains.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
