Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and related components.
• Implement and manage RESTful and SOAP-based web services and their integrations.
• Work with various MuleSoft components like Transformers, Message Enrichers, Routers, Connectors, and Batch Jobs.
• Utilize MuleSoft API Manager for API governance, analytics, and security.
• Integrate MuleSoft solutions with third-party platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to understand integration needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Define and enforce best practices and standards for MuleSoft-based development.
• Manage and monitor applications deployed on MuleSoft CloudHub (v3.x or 4.x).
• Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Document technical designs, integration flows, and support procedures.

Required Technical Skills

• 10+ years of overall software development experience.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft integration and development.
• Strong experience building and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Designer, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.
• Experience working with MuleSoft connectors: HTTP, File, Database, Web Service Consumer, Salesforce, ActiveMQ, VM Queue, etc.
• Experience with MuleSoft components such as Choice Router, Message Enricher, Scatter-Gather, For-Each, and Batch Jobs.
• Proficiency in Java, Groovy, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with JSON, XML, and flat files.
• Working knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and other web security/authentication protocols.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Maven, and continuous integration/DevOps tools.
• Solid understanding of enterprise cloud architectures and deployment strategies.
• Knowledge of JEE technologies, Spring, and Hibernate is a plus.
