Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject-matter expert in Mainframe Top Secret Security Administration, ensuring data security, access control, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform senior-level z/OS system administration, including configuration, maintenance, break/fix support, and user account management.
• Support mainframe applications and infrastructure, including certificate renewals, security monitoring, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee and coordinate mainframe operations, working closely with network administration, customer support, and application development teams.
• Provide end-user support for Independent Software Vendor (ISV) products (e.g., BlueZone) and assist with mainframe production control and job scheduling.
• Diagnose platform, software, and related product issues; perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions.
• Support Mainframe Transformation initiatives while maintaining legacy systems.
• Experience with Informatica Power Exchange Administration for Change Data Capture (CDC) using mainframe data sources and targets (IMS, VSAM) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Mainframe Top Secret Security Administration and z/OS system administration.
• Strong understanding of security compliance, audit practices, and risk mitigation.
• Hands-on experience with mainframe configuration, user account management, and operational support.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex platform and software issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with mainframe job scheduling and production control processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
