Key Responsibilities

• Drive the optimization and modernization of legacy mainframe systems to enhance performance, scalability, and security, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Partner with a talented team of developers, architects, and business stakeholders to create high-quality, reliable solutions for complex business challenges.
• Tackle complex technical issues, troubleshoot application problems, and provide robust, sustainable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor, maintain, and improve the stability and performance of our critical mainframe systems, including working with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS technologies.
• Assist in integrating legacy mainframe systems with modern cloud services, data analytics platforms, and other emerging technologies to help drive digital transformation.
• Share your extensive knowledge and experience with junior team members, providing guidance and training to support their professional growth and the overall success of the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, and other core mainframe technologies, with a proven track record of delivering mainframe applications and projects.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with DB2 for database management and CICS for transaction processing.
• At least 3 years of experience in all stages of the development life cycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Experience working on integrating or developing web-based applications in conjunction with mainframe systems.
• Proven experience in creating and deploying stored procedures in DB2 to optimize database interactions.
• In-depth experience in systems analysis, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and technological constraints.
• Experience working in a diverse, multi-cultural, and multi-stakeholder environment, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
