We are seeking a Senior Linux Administrator to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux environments while automating tasks and ensuring secure operations. The role involves collaboration with cloud and storage teams, maintaining system performance, and implementing best practices for enterprise systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Linux services, including DNS, NIS, LDAP, Altair Accelerator, IBM LSF.
• Perform kernel-level debugging, patching, and performance tuning.
• Automate system administration tasks using Ansible, Python, and Unix shell scripting.
• Maintain secure environments in alignment with CISSP best practices.
• Collaborate with cloud, storage, and infrastructure teams for hybrid deployments.
• Document procedures, maintain version control of installed software, and ensure operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of text processing tools and Linux command-line utilities.
• Proficiency in Python and Windows PowerShell for automation.
• Experience managing enterprise Linux services and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with security best practices and system hardening.
