Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high-quality, tested features and enhancements aligned with the strategic roadmap.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Collaborate on project scope, technical requirements, and resource estimation.
• Design and implement robust microservices using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Build and deploy containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes) in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Define best practices for deployment, infrastructure, and application lifecycle management.
• Support continuous improvement through exploration of new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex projects.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with Java 8+
• 3+ years with Spring Boot
• 3+ years with Docker and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, EKS, etc.)
• 3+ years with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs
• 3+ years in automated testing using JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, or JBehave
• 3+ years in an Agile/Scrum environment
• 2+ years in a senior or lead engineering role.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka, NATS, Kinesis, or Event Hub
• Monitoring tools: Datadog, New Relic
• Search technologies: Elasticsearch
• API management: Apigee
