Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot existing information systems, applications, middleware, or networks to identify and resolve errors or deficiencies, evaluating alternative solutions.
• Lead teams in resolving escalated support issues, coordinating with vendors as necessary to address problems.
• Provide technical expertise across business functions and identify process improvement opportunities via new technologies.
• Research and analyze relevant technologies and assess emerging tech for organizational benefits.
• Make recommendations that could shape the organization’s long-term technology strategy across business units.
• Assist in developing and analyzing strategies for sourcing and selecting technology solutions.
• Work with service providers to align technical solutions with enterprise strategy and architecture.
• Serve as a consultant and escalation point for technical issues, offering advice to project managers.
• Conduct technical analyses to define, assess, and monitor project or service specifications.
• Design innovative solutions, recommending short-term alternatives when appropriate.
• Support senior technologists’ participation in relevant industry forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure analysis, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of networking, middleware, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex system and network issues.
• Expertise in evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve business processes and infrastructure.
• Ability to provide consultative guidance to business units and senior leadership.
• Experience working with external vendors and service providers to manage and implement technology solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and compliance requirements related to infrastructure and technology solutions.
