Roles and Responsibilities

• Write well-structured, testable, and efficient client- and server-side code
• Maintain and enhance both modern and legacy IAM platforms
• Create and update technical documentation, flowcharts, and system diagrams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional team collaboration
• Provide L3 support, troubleshoot complex IAM issues, and ensure system uptime
• Optimize distributed caching platforms for high performance and availability
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance across IAM systems
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable IAM solutions including:
  • Login systems, MFA, SSO, identity federation, certificate-based authentication
  • Authentication and authorization for REST and SOAP APIs.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with CA SiteMinder / Broadcom Layer7
• Expertise in IAM/IAS: identity lifecycle, access governance, authentication, authorization
• Development experience in IAM solutions and frameworks
• Proficiency with Okta or similar tools (e.g., Ping Identity, ForgeRock)
• Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and related authentication protocols
• Proven ability to handle L3 support and complex troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years in IAM security engineering or similar roles
• Programming proficiency in languages such as Java or Python
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks: NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001
