Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and system architecture.
• Collaborate on ongoing enhancements and maintenance of Guidewire BillingCenter (3+ years of hands-on recent experience required).
• Customize and configure Guidewire applications using Guidewire Studio, Gosu, and relevant integration components.
• Work across the full SDLC, including requirements gathering, technical design, coding, unit testing, and deployment.
• Integrate Guidewire systems with third-party applications using REST Web Services, JSON/XML, and enterprise middleware tools.
• Utilize modern development tools and technologies including Java/Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Git/SVN, Jenkins, and Oracle.
• Contribute to UI/UX components using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Angular.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Guidewire Insurance Suite.
• Minimum of 3 recent years of ongoing experience with Guidewire BillingCenter.
• Proven development expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Strong skills in Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, and web technologies.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and modern version control systems (e.g., Git/SVN).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Deep understanding of insurance industry concepts and data models.
• MUST be ACE Certified in Guidewire (PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter).
