Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex, data-rich frontend applications using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Ensure the user interfaces are intuitive, scalable, and responsive.
• Work closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality features that meet both user and business needs.
• Contribute to system architecture and design decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability of the frontend systems.
• Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and actively contribute to the design and evolution of frontend/backend contracts.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, following best practices. Utilize tools like Jest, ESLint, and Cypress for testing and code quality assurance.
• Optimize frontend applications for maximum speed, efficiency, and scalability. Leverage profiling tools to identify and address bottlenecks.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a collaborative environment focused on growth and excellence.
• Collaborate with DevOps and backend engineers to ensure effective deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning of frontend components in cloud-native environments.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of JavaScript development experience, with a strong command of modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• 6+ years of experience working with React in large-scale production environments.
• 5+ years of experience with API development (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Strong understanding of GraphQL concepts, including Fragments, codegen tooling, and Relay Cursor Connection Specification.
• Experience with frontend performance optimization and scalability best practices.
• Solid experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.) to write and maintain high-quality unit and integration tests.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of distributed systems and principles.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with Terraform or other orchestration tooling for cloud infrastructure management.
• Experience with Python for backend or full-stack development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
