We are seeking a Senior Developer with expertise in Telecom Fault Management (FM) within OSS environments. The role involves designing, developing, and integrating event management systems, including probes, correlation logic, and AI-driven automation across multi-vendor telecom networks.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop event collection, normalization, correlation, and enrichment modules across RAN, Core, Transport, IP/MPLS, and IT domains.
- Build and configure FM components using IBM Netcool/NOI, HPE TeMIP, OpenNMS, ServiceNow Event Management, and related platforms.
- Develop custom adapters, probes, gateways, and APIs for northbound/southbound integrations.
- Implement alarm lifecycle management: deduplication, suppression, thresholding, resync, delay handling, and RCA.
- Enable integration with Inventory, Topology, GIS, Performance Management, and Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Build event-driven automation using Runbooks, Ansible, ServiceNow Flows, and custom scripts for auto-ticketing and auto-healing.
- Work on FM scalability, database tuning, and message bus optimization for high event volumes.
- Enable AI/ML-driven capabilities including anomaly detection, predictive analytics, noise reduction, and closed-loop automation.
- Collaborate on AI-based FM assistants for triage, root cause analysis, and service impact assessment.
- Ensure alignment with telecom standards (3GPP, ITU-T X.733, TMF APIs, SID).
