Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on Axis2 web services
• Develop, debug, and test numerical algorithms and integrate with graphical libraries
• Build and consume SOAP/REST web services; work extensively with WSDL, XML, XSD, and JSON
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Work with Teamcenter Enterprise and Metaphase Object Definition Language (MODEL) for PLM integration
• Migrate existing codebases to updated platforms or frameworks as needed
• Participate in full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Develop cross-platform code and debug applications in Linux/UNIX/Windows environments
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Proficient in Axis2 framework and web service development
• Experience with SOAP/RESTful service integration and implementation
• Strong knowledge of WSDL, XML, XSD, JSON, and related standards
• Working experience in Teamcenter Enterprise and MODEL (Metaphase Object Definition Language)
• Proven expertise in software development across Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments
• Experience in code migration and refactoring
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming principles

Preferred

• Experience with CAD/CAE software development
• Knowledge or experience in C/C++ programming
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and industrial software
