Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the upgrade and transformation of a legacy Angular application to the latest Angular version.
• Refactor and redesign UI components using modern Angular patterns (e.g., standalone components, signals).
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect, accessible, and responsive interfaces across browsers and devices.
• Build and maintain reusable Angular components, directives, and services with a focus on modularity and maintainability.
• Use RxJS, lazy loading, efficient change detection, and state management to optimize front-end performance.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure high-quality code through thorough unit testing (Karma/Jasmine), integration testing, and code reviews.
• Remain up-to-date with the Angular ecosystem and best practices to drive future development strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience upgrading Angular apps from versions earlier than 9.x to current Angular versions.
• Advanced knowledge of Angular CLI, TypeScript, RxJS, SCSS/CSS, HTML5.
• Familiarity with standalone components, signals, functional services, and the latest Angular features.
• Strong grasp of cross-browser compatibility, responsive layouts, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Skilled in lazy loading, efficient state management, and Angular change detection strategies.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Karma, Jasmine, Jest) and test-driven development.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
