Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to build, enhance, and support native components within our client’s content management ecosystem. This role is critical in creating omni-channel customer experiences by enabling the creation, previewing, and publishing of customer acquisition and landing screens on our app, allowing our client to respond to market demands in real time.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop native Android components that integrate seamlessly into our content management ecosystem, enhancing the app's functionality and user experience.
  • Ensure code quality through thorough testing and debugging, employing CI/CD tools to streamline the build and release process for large-scale Android applications.
  • Utilize Kotlin and the Android SDK to build scalable and maintainable applications, leveraging modern Android libraries, particularly Jetpack Compose.
  • Translate wireframes and mock-ups into reusable components and layouts, ensuring design fidelity and performance.
  • Implement best practices regarding scalability, performance, accessibility, and security throughout the development process.
  • Tackle complex problems with innovative solutions, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contributing both individually and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Understand and participate in the entire mobile development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and releases.

 

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience developing large-scale Android applications.
  • Proven expertise in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
  • Experience with modern Android libraries, particularly Jetpack Compose.
  • Familiarity with Android build, test, debug, and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Solid understanding of mobile development best practices, including scalability, performance, accessibility, and security.
