We are seeking a Semantic Modeler to define, implement, and manage a centralized metric store and semantic layer that translates business requirements into reliable, governed metrics and production-ready models. The role combines expertise in data modeling, semantic tooling, and BI/semantic mapping to deliver scalable, data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement a centralized metric store and semantic layer to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Translate business requirements into repeatable, governed metric definitions and production-ready data models.
• Design and implement metric catalogs and dbt models using dbt Metricflow and/or dbt Semantic Layer.
• Apply technical expertise in data modeling, semantic tooling, knowledge graph concepts, and BI mapping to ensure reliable metrics.
• Deliver consistent, scalable, and accurate data-driven insights for business decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align semantic models with business goals and reporting standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with dbt Metricflow and/or dbt Semantic Layer, including designing metric catalogs and dbt models.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, semantic layers, knowledge graph concepts, and BI/semantic mapping.
• Ability to translate business requirements into governed, production-ready metrics.
• Experience delivering centralized, repeatable metrics at scale.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
