Job Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security monitoring tools and processes to detect and respond to security incidents and threats in real time.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security weaknesses and risks.
• Develop and execute incident response plans to address and resolve security breaches, including forensic analysis and remediation.
• Design, configure, and maintain network security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the protection of information systems and data.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and assist with audits and assessments.
• Provide security training and awareness programs for employees to promote safe computing practices and reduce risk.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a security engineering or related role with a focus on cybersecurity, network security, and incident response.
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Proficiency in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit).
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption, and authentication methods.
