Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to support application security, vulnerability management, incident response, and overall security operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks, strengthen security controls, and respond to security incidents.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform application security assessments and security reviews.
• Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Support vulnerability management programs, including risk assessment and tracking remediation efforts.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, alerts, and threats.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to implement security best practices.
• Conduct security testing and validate remediation activities.
• Monitor security tools and ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
• Maintain security documentation, reports, and incident records.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Application Security and Secure SDLC practices.
• Hands-on experience with Vulnerability Management and remediation processes.
• Experience in Incident Response, threat analysis, and security investigations.
• Knowledge of web application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
• Familiarity with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM, and application security testing tools.
• Understanding of network, cloud, and infrastructure security concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional security and engineering teams.
