Responsibilities

• Bot Attack Analysis: Analyze and respond to bot attacks in real-time, minimizing service disruption.
• Pattern & Incident Analysis: Use Akamai and security logs to identify attack patterns and vulnerabilities.
• Security Implementation: Contribute to the design and integration of security features within e-commerce applications.
• SRE Practices: Apply SRE principles to improve the reliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure.
• Technology Use: Work with Java, Python, SQL, and monitoring tools like Dataset and New Relic.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on security trends and tools, adopting new techniques as needed.
• Security Assessments: Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security improvements.
• Vendor Collaboration: Lead discussions with Akamai, Riskified, and other security vendors.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Akamai security solutions (bot mitigation, traffic management).
• Proficiency in OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nessus, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce security and web application security.
• Experience with Java, Python, SQL, and monitoring tools like Dataset and New Relic.
• Familiarity with SRE principles and cloud security.
