Roles and Responsibilities

• Automate testing processes, optimize code, and drive overall process efficiency across the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor automated build processes and ensure the efficiency of CI/CD pipelines. Facilitate resolution of build/release failures.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and create/test frameworks for automated testing. Integrate with existing testing infrastructure.
• Perform acceptance testing, automated tests, and functional tests to ensure software reliability.
• Introduce and manage software development automation across cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Create, maintain, and share clear and comprehensive technical documentation for internal use by engineers and team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement optimal test automation strategies across projects.
• Conduct end-to-end testing for products, including hardware test setups where applicable.
• Perform code reviews of automation tests and offer suggestions for improvements. Troubleshoot issues as they arise and strategize resolutions.
• Provide regular automation status reports to Agile teams and the QA Manager to ensure alignment on progress and potential issues.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing with tools like Postman, Swagger.
• 3+ years of experience in API/web services automation, specifically with tools like Rest Assured.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Git, Jenkins.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
• Hands-on experience with build automation using tools like Rest Assured.
• Familiarity with microservices architectures and decoupled systems.
• Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure management.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk for real-time diagnostics and troubleshooting.
