Role and Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Guide and support the team in applying Scrum principles, ensuring that practices are followed and continually improved.
• Identify and resolve obstacles that may impede the team’s progress, working with stakeholders to address issues effectively.
• Assist the Product Owner in managing and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring that user stories are well-defined and understood by the team.
• Track and report on team performance metrics, such as velocity and burn-down charts, and use data to drive improvements.
• Provide ongoing training and support to team members and stakeholders on Scrum practices and Agile methodologies.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team by identifying areas for growth and implementing action plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Scrum Master certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM), Professional Scrum Master™ (PSM)) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile coaching role.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
• Familiarity with other Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Lean) is beneficial.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage conflicts, and drive team performance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Promotes and encourages collaboration and transparency and builds trusting relationships between business, delivery, and other entities within the organization.
