Roles and Responsibilities

• Understanding of the System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2012, 2016, 2019
  
• Deploying monitor rules discoveries, diagnostic and or recovery tasks views, dashboards setting up new scom Environment
  
• Implementing update rollups in scom and installing SCOM patches released by Microsoft.
  
• Install new management packs, create a deployment of override management packs integrate product connectors with the ticketing system.
  
• Install new agents, scom console setup, and new management group assistance with other application teams.
  
• create user rules in scom console, create notification channels subscribers' subscriptions of agents.
  
• create distributed application groups, work with creating reports, and reports scheduling.

 

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Experience in installing, configuring, and managing scom.
• A solid understanding of key infrastructure technologies (networking, storage, etc.)
