Our client is seeking a skilled Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Product Owner to join their team. This role involves overseeing and delivering assigned projects in alignment with the client's project management methodology. The ideal candidate will have experience leading, coordinating, and participating in various project phases, from planning to deployment. Additionally, the successful candidate will facilitate key project meetings, including weekly project cadence calls and monthly executive steering committee calls.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and actively participate in critical project activities such as Planning, Requirement Analysis, Design, Development, and Deployment phases.
- Conduct weekly project cadence calls, monthly executive steering committee calls, and other project-specific meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment.
- Generate financial reports, project status reports, and metrics to track project progress and performance.
- Lead Q-gate activities and PLMP processes, collaborating closely with service owners and senior program managers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Liaise and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including service owners and business owners, as necessary to meet project objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a SAFe or Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and its principles.
- Project management experience in procure-to-pay business process areas and familiarity with SAP ecosystems like S4, SAP ECC, AOD, IBP, and BTP.
- PMP Certification is required; PMI-ACP certification is a plus.
