Job Responsibilities

• Respond to SCADA system alerts and notifications promptly to ensure operational integrity.
• Conduct regular system assessments to proactively identify potential issues.
• Perform root cause analysis on technical issues to identify solutions and prevent future occurrences.
• Document findings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and configure the SCADA system to ensure alignment between equipment readings and SCADA data.
• Understand and assist with the administration of corporate IT infrastructure, including servers, services, and SCADA equipment management.
• Manage change requests and help desk tickets related to SCADA and IT systems.
• Work with SCADA databases, including database design and querying, to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Assist in data integrity initiatives and report generation.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SCADA systems, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong troubleshooting and configuration skills for SCADA systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and locations.
• Understanding of corporate IT infrastructure, including server and services administration.
• Experience managing change requests and help desk tickets in an IT environment.
• Familiarity with database design principles and data querying techniques.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Experience working with vendors and staff in field settings.
