Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and managing SAS and SQL reporting solutions, including the planning, design, production support, and ongoing management of these solutions to meet departmental reporting requirements.
• Work closely with project teams (analysts, scientist leaders, analytic advisors/managers, sales, and operations) and clients to complete projects that meet business needs.
• Engage with business stakeholders to advise on strategic solutions for their business intelligence needs.
• Document requirements to assist technicians in building the functional/integration components.
• Deliver solutions through an Agile delivery model, ensuring outputs are delivered efficiently on Teradata (database) and SAS (ETL).
• Design, track, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytical models to drive field operations strategy and productivity.
• Recommend and implement action plans based on KPIs and analytical models to mitigate risks and optimize field performance.
• Create and maintain static and ad-hoc reports to communicate field performance and improve technician-level efficiency.
• Compile and mine data from multiple business sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve data anomalies and address methodology questions.
• Work closely with statistical modelers to implement models in SAS, ensuring accurate, efficient, and traceable forecast results.

Job Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in SAS Base, Advanced SAS Programming, SAS Procedures, SAS Graph, and SAS Macro programming to build robust solutions.
• Strong expertise in SQL programming, with the ability to extract large datasets from relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake).
• Proficient in using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Experience with Unix/Linux commands to manage data and automate tasks.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and presentations.
• 7+ years of experience in SAS programming (Base and Advanced), SQL development, and reporting solutions.
• 7+ years of experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or other relational databases.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and experience in Agile project teams.
• Proficiency in using GitHub for source code management.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Ability to analyze data issues, resolve anomalies, and implement solutions to improve data quality.
