Key Responsibilities

SAP Security:

• Design and implement SAP security roles and authorizations on Azure-hosted systems.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and BFSI regulations.
• Perform user provisioning, role testing, and segregation of duties (SoD) checks.
• Configure secure communication (SSL/TLS) and encryption.
• Monitor, audit, and remediate access violations; provide security sign-offs.
• Collaborate with BASIS and Azure teams for identity and access management.
• Support GRC integration and risk analysis for migrated systems.

SAP BASIS:

• Execute SAP system administration: client copies, transports, monitoring.
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot application/server issues.
• Support migration activities: export/import, SUM/DMO execution, validation.
• Configure RFCs, logical systems, and post-migration integration points.
• Maintain system health, automate routine tasks, and implement backup/recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with Azure infra teams for connectivity and resource provisioning.
• Document technical procedures and provide operational handover.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP Security & BASIS administration on Azure-hosted environments.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, GRC, and SoD frameworks.
• Hands-on with SAP system migrations, performance tuning, and security hardening.
• Proficiency in SAP user management, transports, RFCs, and system monitoring.
• Excellent collaboration and documentation skills for cross-functional teams.
