Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze, configure, and optimize SAP SD to align with customer requirements and business processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand Sales and Distribution (S&D) processes and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Implement and drive system enhancements in the SAP SD module to improve business performance.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP SD with other SAP modules (FI/CO/FM/PS) and address any functional or technical integration challenges.
• Provide leadership to large, cross-functional teams, both technical and functional, to ensure successful implementation and optimization of SAP SD solutions.
• Support SAP SD functionalities and processes in a federal context, including government and defense sectors.
• Offer ongoing support post go-live, including handling break/fix issues, performance improvements, and enhancements.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP, including subject matter expertise in the SAP SD module.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into system solutions within SAP SD.
• Proficient in resolving functional and technical integration issues across SAP modules, particularly FI/CO/FM/PS.
• Proven ability to lead large teams of technical and functional experts in successful SAP SD implementations.
• Demonstrated experience in federal projects and understanding of government processes.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (technical, engineering, business, etc.), or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of and experience with DoD (Department of Defense) and specifically Navy ERP.
• Familiarity with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.
• Experience providing production support and managing post go-live issues (break/fix).
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to handle complex issues and provide responsive solutions.
• Experience in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, testing (functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance), implementation, and post-production support.
• Experience in SAP SD reimbursement processes.
