We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA PP-QM Consultant to design, implement, and optimize quality management processes within SAP ERP. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring SAP QM modules, integrating with related modules, and providing expert-level consulting and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities
- Configure SAP QM modules including Inspection Plans, Quality Notifications, and Quality Certificates.
- Set up and maintain Master Data (Material Inspection Characteristics (MICs), Inspection Methods, Sampling Procedures).
- Integrate QM with MM (Procurement), PP (Production), and PM (Plant Maintenance).
- Design and implement quality control processes across Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspections.
- Automate quality workflows using SAP QM-PP/DS or S/4HANA Quality Management.
- Identify and propose enhancements to business processes and SAP system functionality.
- Analyze complex business process requirements and provide appropriate SAP solutions.
- Identify, interpret, validate, and document client requirements.
- Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements.
- Map client requirements and develop necessary product modifications to meet business needs.
- Document functional designs, configuration details, test cases, and results.
- Identify gaps, issues, and propose workarounds.
- Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Manage changes and emergency transports for high-priority issues.
- Provide consulting services for both new implementations and ongoing support projects.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Deliver ad-hoc training and user support as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong SAP QM configuration and implementation experience.
- Experience in integrating QM with MM, PP, and PM modules.
- Expertise in setting up Master Data, Inspection Plans, and Quality Certificates.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and provide SAP solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting UAT, training sessions, and production deployment.
