Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide SAP IM/WM expertise to validate and define business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand procurement, warehousing, and materials management processes.
  • Configure SAP IM/WM modules to meet business needs, including customizations where appropriate.
  • Provide functional support across the full software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, testing, documentation, and implementation.
  • Design and support data migration, system interfaces, and functional enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP IM/WM-related issues, ensuring system integrity and performance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive systems documentation, including process flows, functional specifications, business process procedures, and test cases.
  • Ensure integration across SAP modules including CO, FM, FI, SD, and MM.

 

Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on SAP experience, with strong focus on IM/WM modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of key functional areas including Inbound Logistics, RF (Radio Frequency), Quality Inspection, Pack/Pass, Serial Number Management, Batch Management, Handling Units, and Transportation/Shipping Management.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC in a Tier 3 support environment.
  • Experience with SAP integrations across modules such as CO, FM, FI, SD, and MM.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within federal agencies or government environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, managerial, business, or related field.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of specific experience in SAP IM/WM configuration and support.
  • Familiarity with decentralized SAP EWM and its integration with core IM/WM processes.
  • Experience with hazardous materials (HazMat) handling and related SAP compliance protocols.
  • Working knowledge of agile project methodologies and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Previous experience with Navy ERP or DoD ERP implementations.
  • Understanding of enterprise-level change management processes and documentation standards.
