Job Description

Technical / Functional Skills

  • Having Minimum 8-10 years of experience supporting and implementing SAP HCM.
  • Have solid understanding of the HCM functions and related HR business processes.
  • Design, configure and maintain all SAP HCM components.
  • Experience with Enable and configure payroll features.
  • In depth experience of the PA/OM, Time and Finance Integration with Payroll.
  • Configure and maintain all wage types and determine taxation rules.
  • Have experience in managing BSI Upgrade, cyclic updates, review tax for all 50 states and local authorities in US and gross up tax calculations.
  • Configure US garnishments remittance and deduction rules and resolve issues related
  • Configure FI GL mapping, posting to accounting to on premise SAP FI & third-party remittance, and month end accruals.
  • Create new time types for absences, absence counting, quota accruals
  • Maintain or create new payroll and Time management rules for over time, double time & incentives etc.
  • SAP Payroll yearend adjustments and claims functionality.
  • Set up and test prototypes in lower environments and provide POC to new solutions and knowledge transfer to business and other support team members.
  • Work with Developers to create new interfaces for external vendors and reports to internal customers.
  • ABAP Query - running creating queries and running reports like Payroll reconciliation to answer queries from Payroll
  • Review, analyze and test impact of payroll related changes included in SAP HR support packages and experience in upgrade projects.
  • Experience in working with AGILE methodology and daily scrum reporting.
  • Familiar with the use of Service now, HP ALM, Jira, Teams and MS office tools.
  • Knowledge or worked with SailPoint/IDV and SAP security for access related issues.
  • Good analytical ability to identify root cause for Production issues and provide resolutions
  • Recognize inefficient processes, guide projects forward, provide technical    
  • 8+ years of experience supporting and managing SAP Payroll
  • 8+ years of experience supporting and managing SAP HCM


Good to have:

  • Experience in SuccessFactors modules and SAP BTP
  • SuccessFactors – EC Payroll Experience is good to have.
