We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to drive SAP Finance initiatives that improve financial data accuracy, streamline audit processes, reduce compliance risk, and enhance financial visibility. The consultant will partner with finance and business stakeholders to optimize SAP processes, deliver system enhancements, and support financial transformation initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SAP Finance strategies that improve financial data accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance.
- Design and implement SAP enhancements supporting cost tracking, financial visibility, and profitability analysis.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP solutions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize financial workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Support financial reporting, month-end/year-end processes, and management reporting.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, Audit, and business stakeholders on SAP Finance initiatives.
- Ensure SAP Finance processes align with GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Contribute to SAP Finance product strategy, roadmap planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement.
- Support SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, upgrades, integrations, and transformation programs.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and workflow optimization.
Required Skills
- 6–8 years of SAP FICO experience
- Strong expertise in:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- SAP Finance product management and roadmap ownership
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness
- Business requirements gathering and functional design
- Financial reporting, cost tracking, and profitability analysis
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

- SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation experience
- SAP Finance transformation or Product Owner experience
- Tableau and SQL reporting/analytics skills
