Role and Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard information systems and data within SAP environments.
• Manage SAP Basis tasks, including system installations, upgrades, and performance tuning, with a focus on security best practices.
• Conduct regular security assessments and testing of SAP applications to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation.
• Develop and implement system hardening techniques to secure SAP landscapes against unauthorized access and threats.
• Stay updated with SAP security notes and apply relevant patches and updates to ensure systems are protected against known vulnerabilities.
• Utilize CALM tools to view recommended notes and manage application lifecycle security.
• Use SAP Solution Manager for system recommendations and to monitor system security.
• Write and maintain Unix shell scripts and Python scripts to automate security processes and enhance system performance.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts, best practices, and tools.
• Experience with SAP Basis administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with application security testing methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of system hardening practices for SAP environments.
• Proficient in Unix shell scripting and Python programming.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud solutions and their security implications.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements in cybersecurity.
