Roles and Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable Solr-based search solutions within SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Define and optimize Solr schema designs, indexing strategies, and data modeling for enhanced search performance.
• Integrate Solr Search with SAP Commerce Cloud and ensure seamless functionality across environments.
• Conduct performance tuning, relevancy tuning, and troubleshoot search-related issues.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to align search functionality with business requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance and best practices around search infrastructure and data indexing.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) Architect, with a strong focus on search architecture.
• Expertise in Apache Solr – schema design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of SAP Commerce data model and architecture.
• Hands-on experience integrating and customizing Solr within SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Java, Spring, and related technologies.
