Roles and Responsibilities

• Work with OS & DB Administrators for optimal SAP Performance
• Database administration IBM DB2/6 and SAP HANA, ability to perform database upgrades, apply Fix packs, optimizing and tuning databases, handle nightly backups and their integration with third party backup systems, backup and restore strategies, database security, database problem determination and resolution
• Manage system performance, upgrades, corrections, and transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies, batch scheduling
• Provide technical upgrades functional and technical enhancements
• Installation, upgrade and maintenance of SAP and SAP related software products
• Maintain HANA database, perform patch and service stack upgrades

Preferred Skills

• Expertise with SLT, SAP Data Services , SAP data Archiving
• Experience in SAP Sizing by using the SAP Quick sizer.
• Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems. Exposure to different remote access options in HANA system.
• Hardware, operating systems (LINUX) and networking connectivity required for the SAP environment.
• Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, performance tuning and system integration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 8+ years of Relevant Experience is required
