Position: Salsify Node.js Lead
Location: USA - Remote
Job Type: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of Salsify PIM with eCommerce platforms using Node.js and related technologies.
• Design and implement custom workflows for product data management, ensuring smooth product data flow across various eCommerce channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, IT, marketing, and operations, to define and implement product data management strategies.
• Work on the integration and customization of Salsify with ERP, CRM, and other third-party applications.
• Develop and optimize Node.js applications and APIs that support product data synchronization and eCommerce processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to product data flows, API integrations, and system performance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers working with Node.js and PIM systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salsify features and enhancements, and evaluate their potential application in improving data management processes.
• Ensure product data quality, consistency, and accuracy across all digital touchpoints, including eCommerce sites, marketplaces, and marketing platforms.
• Document and maintain best practices for system configurations, integrations, and data management workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Salsify (preferred) or other PIM tools like Akeneo, Inriver, or similar systems.
• Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript-based development.
• Expertise in integrating PIM systems with eCommerce platforms like SAP Hybris, Shopify, Commerce Tools, or similar.
• Experience with APIs, data transformations, and ETL processes for eCommerce integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across departments and teams.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
