Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive your software development activities to meet project schedules and timelines according to Freewheel’s Software Development Life Cycle.
• Possesses the ability to distinguish the implementation of declarative solutions (i.e., “clicks not code”) and programmatic development.
• Keep up to date on the latest Salesforce releases / emerging technologies and identify opportunities to implement new functionality on Freewheel’s Salesforce instance.
• Employ platform best practices to deliver world-class solutions and ensure developed solutions are aligned with Salesforce best practices.
• Proactively identify system issues/bugs and deploy fixes to provide quick and timely resolution.
• Ability to write high-quality code with supporting unit tests, and deliver on time.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Salesforce Sales Cloud or Lightning Platform development experience (the majority of projects will be developed in Sales Cloud).
• Experience in Apex, Lightning Component Development, JavaScript, CSS, Apex Classes, Triggers, VisualForce pages, SOQL.
• Experience with technologies that work with Salesforce (i.e., JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, REST, and SOAP APIs).
• Exposure to Web service technologies such as REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, JDBC, and MySQL is desired but not required.
• Experience implementing integrations into SFDC with third-party tools.
• Advanced Administrator or Platform Developer 1 certificationPlas and Platform Developer 1 is preferred.
