Work closely with developers/engineers and the Salesforce Development Manager to be part of the delivery team to carefully planning, testing, and releasing software in a manner which supports test automation, deployment automation, and a regular deployment cadence.
Contribute solid CI/CD best practices within our Salesforce environment.
Technical ownership of the automated CI tool (Copado) used by our development/engineering team.
Technical ownership for all Salesforce Security Alerts and all installed packages across our Salesforce environments.
Manage all Salesforce environments, carefully plan environment refreshes and manage all Salesforce access.
Regularly maintain and update archived branches of all Salesforce environments.
Develop a deep contextual system-level understanding for all tools and systems that are used by the team.
Promptly identify and communicate operational concerns around the installation, integration, or usage of tools within the platform
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Relevant years of experience in following areas: (Salesforce Development, release management, software development, DevOps).
Experience with GIT and resolving issues on conflicting CI/CD processes.
Knowledge of the Salesforce Meta Data API and Salesforce release management techniques.
Hands on experience with AWS, Cloud, API, Jenkins, GIT, Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Visualforce, Apex, ANT.
Salesforce experience and desire to work on enterprise level.
